1st warm up match: Afghanistan beat pakistan by 3 wicket

Sports Desk – The first warm up match was played between pakistan and Afghanistan . In this match, pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. In this practice match Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 3 wickets. Pakistan team was all out only make 263 runs in 47.5 overs. Afghanistan achieved this target by losing 7 wickets in 49.4 overs.

Hashmatullah Shahidi hit an unbeaten 74 off 102 balls to help Afghanistan clinch a win. Pakistan, the winners of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, had headed into their first warm-up match of the World Cup on the back of a 4-0 thrashing in a 5-match ODI series against hosts England earlier this month. Afghanistan next face hosts England in London in their 2nd warm-up match on May 27 before their World Cup opener vs Australia on June 1.
