India has revealed its strong 15-member squad for the much-awaited Cricket World Cup 2023. However, what has caught the attention of cricket fans is the exclusion of veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been a prominent figure in the Indian cricket scene for years.

BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar recently highlighted the decision during a press conference, giving valuable insight into Chahal’s exclusion from India’s Asia Cup 2023 squad. According to Agarkar, the selection committee faced a difficult choice between two exceptional wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. Ultimately, they decided to lean towards Kuldeep Yadav due to his excellent performances in One Day Internationals (ODIs) in recent times.
