Zaheer Khan got a place in India’s ODI team against Kenya for the first time in October 2000 and took three wickets in the first match. Subsequently in November 2000, Zaheer played the first Test match against Bangladesh.

Zaheer has taken 311 wickets in 92 Test matches in his career. While taking 282 wickets in 200 ODIs. Zaheer also played 17 International T20 matches for India and took 17 wickets in his name.
