Dortmund faced Ajax in their second meeting of the UEFA Champions League group stage
Dortmund and Ajax were against each other in the second meeting of the UCL group stage match. Ajax defeated Dortmund 4-0 in their first meeting.
The three goals for Ajax were scored by Dusan Tadic, Sebastein Haller, and Davy Klassen. The only goal from Dortmund side was netted by Marco Reus from the penalty spot.
Ajax has finished top on the group stage points table with the second highest GD in the tournament. Bayern holds that first place with highest GD to their name.
In Europe’s top 10 leagues this season, Ajax have scored the most goals and conceded the lest number of goals. They look like a team that can knock any other European giants out of the UCL this season.
