Paraguay faced Bolivia in their first group stage match of Copa America 2021
Paraguay and Bolivia were against each other in their first group stage match of 2021 Copa America. The former defeated Bolivia by 3-1.
Though the first goal of the game was scored by Bolivia’s Erwin Saavedra, Paraguay made a brilliant comeback in the second half.
Alejandro Romeno scored the first goal for Paraguay in 62nd minute. Angel Romero then scored two goals in 65th and 80th minute to put his side two goals ahead of their opponent.
The game was mainly affected by the red card given to Bolivian forward Jaume Cuéllar at the end of the first half.
