Italy faced Austria in their RO16 knockout stage match of UEFA Euro 2020.

The 38th match of UEFA Euro 2020 was played between Italy and Austria. This was second match of Round of 16 KNOCKOUT PHASE. The former defeat their opponent 2-1 on the final score.

The score went 0-0 till end of the 90 minutes. The first goal of the match was scored by Federico Chiesa in 95th minute in extra time.

Matteo Pessina gave a two goal lead to Italy after netting the ball in 105th minute. Austria finally managed to get the ball into the net in 114th minute but weren’t able to catch the scoreline.

Italy has reached the quarter finals while Austria’s journey is over for this tournament.
