In an unexpected incident, Barcelona refused to sign Lionel Messi because of the La Liga rules. The Argentine is now a free agent.
Messi and his father were ready to sign a new 4 year contract with Barca. However, the club president Joan Laporte had to refuse the deal because of financial and structural obstacles.
It is more than a critical situation for the Barca and its fans. The club signed Sergio Aguero from Manchester City in order to persuade Messi to stay at the Camp Nou but the things turned out to be more worse.
So now the question is to which club does Messi would go? Manchester City And PSG are the only two clubs that can afford Messi’s salary.
However, PSG have already started their bidding for the Argentina captain and they are currently in contact with Messi’s father.
On the other side, Man City have just signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for a whooping £100m. So it’s quite not possible that they would go that far to sign Messi for another huge amount.
