Bjorn Michel is the highest goal scorer in Germany in men’s hockey. Michel has scored 229 goals in his career and he was also part of a German team that won the bronze medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics.

The most successful player in the history of the game is none other than Major Dhyan Chand who was India’s pride. In 185 matches for his country, he has scored 570 international goals. Allahabad-born Dhyan Chand was known as the Wizard of hockey. He played from 1929 to 1946 in which he won three Olympic gold medals.
