Few players are missing from the Indian squad and those are Jasprit Bumrah who was excluded because of the injury and Harshal Patel was also left out because of the injury. Ishan Kishan and Mohammad Shami were two big surprises because they both had played well in previous games for India.

The weakest link in the Indian squad is fast bowling as there are only 3 fast bowlers in the main squad and both Arshdeep and Avesh Khan are young and inexperienced bowlers.

KL Rahul is named as the vice-captain of the team which means he will play in his original opening position and in the past few series India has tried several openers and Rahul himself is coming from injury and he will play T20 after IPL 2022. Virat Kohli will also come after a long break and Hardik Pandya’s role will become more important in absence of the third fast bowler.
