CSK star Shane Watson to retire from all forms of cricket

Sports Desk – Shane Watson, the all-rounder of the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings, has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. The former Australia all-rounder will no longer play in the next IPL. Watson has said goodbye to franchise cricket.

Watson, 39, had called time on his international career in 2016 but carried on playing franchise-based cricket tournaments, including the Indian Premier League.

Shane Watson has played for Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in IPL. Shane Watson contributed to the IPL title win for Rajasthan Royals in 2008.

Watson is very disappointed about his performance in this IPL. He scored 299 runs in 11 matches for Chennai this season, including 2 half-centuries. In the IPL, Shane Watson scored 3874 runs in 145 matches and took 92 wickets. Watson has also scored 4 centuries in the IPL.
