Sports Desk – The Big Bash League (BBL 19-20) is being played in Australia these days. The 13th match was played between the Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars. Dale Steyn made his long-awaited debut in the BBL on Friday but didn’t have the best of starts.

Starting his BBL campaign with a dot ball, Steyn was then smashed for back-to-back sixes which was followed by back-to-back fours. Hit for 20 runs off his first five deliveries in the BBL, Steyn had the last laugh when he dismissed Weatherald on the final ball of the over.

Chasing a 175-run target, Melbourne Stars lost the match by 4 runs as veteran Strikers pacer Peter Siddle (4-0-24-3) defended 12 runs in the last over.
