Sports Desk- The match No. 38 of the ICC World Cup 2019 was played between England and Team India at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Team India still need one more win to qualify for the semi-final of the world event. England on Sunday came back roaring in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 as the defeated India by 31 runs .

Batting first, England posted a mammoth 337 for 7 in 50 overs riding on Jonny Bairstow’s 111 and  half-centuries from Jason Roy (66) and Ben Stokes (79).

Team India Innings
In reply, India started off slowly but Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma kept them in the hunt. However, after their dismissals, India lacked intent to put up a fight in the end overs and lost the clash by 31 runs.

Man of the Match : Jonny Bairstow’s was adjudged as the Man of the Match award for his crucial knock of 111 runs off 109 balls.
