Sports Desk – The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 15 match of South Africa and West Indies has been canceled due to rain. South Africa and West Indies shared points at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton on Monday after the ICC World Cup 2019 encounter was abandoned due to rain. It was another disappointing day for South Africa, who are yet to register their first win in the tournament. However, their search for first points in the showpiece event came to an end as they got 1 point in their kitty, courtesy the weather.

In this match West Indies won the toss and opt to bowl. Only 7.3 overs were played in the match, and due to the continuous showers, the umpires decided to cancel the match. While the West Indies started well, Sheldon Cottrell sent Hashim Amla (5) and Markram (5) to the pavilion. South Africa’s score was 29 runs on the loss of 2 wickets, then the rain came and continued for a long time.
