Sports Desk – The 2st T20 match was played between India and West Indies at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground. India on Sunday sealed the three-match T20I series by winning the second T20I . In this match India won the toss and opt to bat. Batting first, the Men in Blue started strong as Rohit Sharma scored 67 runs. Shikhar Dhawan (23) and Virat Kohli (28) did their job with the willow while Krunal Pandya’s blistering cameo of 20 runs off 13 deliveries gave Team India a perfect finish. while Krunal Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja provided the late fireworks as India posted 167/5.
In reply, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Washington Sundar dismissed both the Windies openers for cheap before Krunal chipped in with a couple of wickets to send the Men in Maroon to 98/4 in 15.3 overs. However, the match witnessed a disruptive ending due to bad weather and India were handed a win by 22 runs on the DLS method .
