Sports Desk – In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) auction, 48-year-old Pravin Tambe also found a buyer. He is bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at a base price of Rs 20 lakhs. With this, he has also become the oldest cricketer in IPL history.

You will be surprised to know that copper had IPL debut at the age of 41 years. IPL had so far claimed 28 wickets in 33 matches. He has played for Rajasthan, Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.

“I still play with a mindset like I am a 20-year-old young,” Tambe, who has an 18-year-old son, told PTI from Mumbai. “I will bring all my experience and energy to the team. And that positivity. I know that I can bring that, even if I’m with them not playing.”
