The prize money of Indian Premier League (IPL) winners and runner-up teams has been halved.

IPL 2021 Winner Prize Money

The winner received Rs 20 crore in 2019. While the runners-up received Rs 12.5 crore. Last this year i.e. IPL 2020 this amount will be halved. That is, the winner got Rs 10 crore and the runner-up got Rs 6.25 crore. Each of the losing teams in the qualifiers will have to be satisfied with Rs 4.3 crore. This year too, BCCI has kept this same prize.
