A large crowd of fans outside M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru caused a stampede during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) IPL 2025 victory parade on June 4. This led to 10 or 11 people dying and many others getting hurt because the security could not control the crowd.
RCB won their first IPL title on June 3 by beating Punjab Kings by six runs in Ahmedabad. Fans celebrated the next day, but the crowd got out of control. Police struggled to manage, and there were 11 deaths and more than 30 people hospitalized at nearby hospitals.
