BCCI which is the cricket board of India is the richest cricket board in the world. There are many categories in BCCI’s annual contract according to which players get their annual salaries from the board. On Wednesday BCCI announced some changes and updates in the annual contract. In this article, we will tell you the names of the players who are added to BCCI contracts.

BCCI added many youngsters to their newly updated contract list. BCCI is very clear in their thoughts that they will add those players who are willing to play for India and in domestic cricket of India rather than prioritizing lucrative contracts from private leagues. Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel will be added to bracket C if they play in the fifth test at Dharamshala. According to BCCI rules, if a player represents India in a minimum of 3 tests, he will be part of the central contract in the C category.

Players who got their first-ever BCCI contracts are

  1. Yashasvi Jaiswal who got directly in the B bracket after a very successful England test series where he will earn 3 crores annually as a salary.
  2. Rinku Singh, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, and Rajat Patidar are all added to the bracket C by BCCI.

Players who got promoted in the BCCI contract.

  1. KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, and Mohammad Siraj. They all were in bracket B and in the updated list they got promoted in bracket A where they will earn 5 crore per year as salary.
  2. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav was also promoted from bracket C to bracket B in the new list where the salary is 3 crores annually.
