Series of all formats will be played between India and South Africa. For this, the Indian cricket team has also reached South Africa. But amidst all this, Team India was given a warm welcome by the fans at the airport and as soon as they landed at Durban Airport, fans of South African and Indian origin were seen taking selfies with Team India.
After the video of this grand welcome surfaced, it went viral on social media, which was first shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media. In a video, the players can be seen receiving a warm welcome from hotel staff upon arriving at the South African airport.
In the video, Mohammed Siraj, head coach Rahul Dravid, Suryakumar Yadav, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal are seen leaving the airport. The Indian team will play the first three-match T20 series against South Africa, which will start from Sunday, December 10 and will continue till December 14.
After this the ODI series will start from 17th December and will continue till 21st December. After this a two-match test series will be played. The first Test will be held in Centurion from December 26 and the second Test will be held in Cape Town from 3 January.
