Pakistan Super League (PSL) will start on 27 January 2021 and PSL is also one of the most entertaining leagues as players from all around the globe comes to participate in it. Seeing the success of the Pakistan team PSL plays an important role in their domestic cricket. So, in this article, we came up with the top 5 run-scorers in PSL history.

#5 Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman plays for Lahore Qalandars since 2017. He has played 50 matches so far for his franchise and scored 1351 runs which are the fifth highest in PSL’s history. Fakhar zaman as the highest score of 94 in the tournament with an average of 27.51 and a strike rate of 133.49. Zaman has 3 half-centuries in the tournament so far.

#4 Shane Watson

Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson even after taking retirement from all forms of the game makes at No.4 on our list. Watson has scored 1361 runs in 46 matches he played in PSL. Watson played for Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Watson has the highest score of 91* in the league with an average strike rate of 32.40 and 138.59 respectively.

#3 Shoaib Malik

One of the most experienced batters of Pakistan and in the league Shoaib Malik is playing from 2016 in PSL and he has played for Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi. Malik has scored 1481 runs in the PSL so far with the highest score of 73. Malik has 9 fifties in the tournament with an average strike rate of 32.19 and 128.11 respectively.

#2 Kamran Akmal

Kamran Akmal is also one of the most experienced players in PSL history who has played 69 matches in the league so far for Peshawar Zalmi. Kamran is at No.2 on our list. He has scored 1820 runs in the tournament so far with 3 centuries and 11 half-centuries. Kamran Akmal has an average of 27.57 and a strike rate of 136.84. he has the highest score of 107* which is amazing.

#1 Babar Azam

Pakistan’s rising star and their all-format captain Babar Azam tops the list as the Pakistani skipper has a total of 2070 runs in the tournament so far. Babar played for Islamabad United and now plays for Karachi Kings. He is playing in the league since 2016. His highest score is 90*. His average and strike rates are 43.12 and 121.55. He also has 21 half centuries in the league.
