But in this match, run machine Virat Kohli registered another record in his name. Kohli has become the batsman who has hit the most fours in IPL history. He broke Shikhar Dhawan’s record of 768 fours. Now Kohli has come to number one with 771 fours. Kohli achieved the feat in the 259th innings of his career, while Dhawan achieved the feat in 221 innings.

In the most fours in IPL overall standings, David Warner is at number three with 663 fours in 184 games. Rohit Sharma is fourth with 640 fours in 272 games, with Ajinkya Rahane completing the top five list with 514 fours in 172 games.
