In the year 2017, it was reported that Sanath Jayasuriya had leaked an objectionable video of his third wife Maleeka Sirisena. According to reports, he did this for the purpose of taking revenge.

Jayasuriya got married thrice and all three failed. His first marriage was in 1998 to Air Sri Lanka ground hostess Sumudu Karunanayake. This marriage was broken within a year.

In 2012, Sanath Jayasuriya’s affair with Maleeka Sirisena started. For Maleeka Sirisena, Sanath Jayasuriya divorced her second wife Sandra De Silva.

According to reports, Sanath Jayasuriya and Maleeka Sirisena had secret Marriage in a temple. Sanika Jayasuriya’s third wife Maleeka Sirisena was an actress by profession. Both of them got married in February 2012.
