Here we show you the squad Belgium announced for the upcoming FIFA World Cup
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is going to start from November 20 and the coaches have started to announce their national teams’ squad.
Belgium’s head coach Roberto Martínez has named their official squad for the tournament. His 26-man squad surprisingly include eight forwards indicating is clear mindset of a high-pressing and attacking strategy.

Belgium XI For 2022 FIFA World Cup
Romelu Lukaku and Lois Openda (ST) – Lukaku had quite a bad campaign last season. He has returned to Inter Milan this season and is doing great in Serie A again. Lois Openda might support him as an attacking partner.
Kevin De Bruyne – Probably the best midfielder in the world right now, Kevin De Bruyne won the Premier League title last season. He is surely going to be selected for the upcoming World Cup squad.
Eden Hazard – The 31-year-old won the UEFA Champions League title with Real Madrid last season. Although he did not have a big role in that title reign but he has promised his fans that he would perform great this season.
Youri Tielemans – The player is in a huge demand this season. Arsenal are currently pursuing for Tielemans since they want to strengthen their midfield.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen – Belgium’s defense is mostly dependent on these two players. Alderweireld and Vertonghen makes up a very strong defensive duo.

Thibaut Courtois – The Real Madrid player was probably the best goalkeeper of the 2021/22 season. I mean, he did help the club win their 14th Champions League title.
