Conor Bradley is the ideal Trent Alexander-Arnold backup, according to a Liverpool compilation.

Luis Diaz’s goal and a Jakub Kiwior own goal on Sunday punished Arsenal for wasting a plethora of opportunities as Liverpool advanced to the FA Cup’s fourth round with a 2-0 victory.

Liverpool is still in the running to capture four titles this season thanks to their victory. Bradley, a player from Northern Ireland, gave the Reds one of their best performances of the day when he replaced Harvey Elliott with just fifteen minutes remaining.

Despite his brief appearance, his polished performance attracted the attention of BBC analyst Alan Shearer, who hailed the youngster’s “impressive” cameo.

The Newcastle legend said: “Well done Conor Bradley. Staying alive and alert. I know they conceded a corner, but he had to do that.

“Doing well, isn’t he?! He has looked impressive when he has come on.”

The 20-year-old received a lot of praise from Liverpool supporters as well; a video of Bradley’s appearance was circulated on X, the former name of Twitter.

Following the win, Bradley posted a celebratory message on Instagram and earned praise from other teammates. Alexander-Arnold, the captain for the day, used the perfect word to describe Bradley’s performance: “Impact”.

Virgil van Dijk responded to the show by sending two clapping emojis.

“What a player,” said Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher, while Bobby Clark, who also came off the bench said: “Class brother.”

After a fruitful loan at Bolton, Bradley joined Liverpool in 2019 from his childhood club, Dungannon Swifts. Two years later, he made his Liverpool debut.

After agreeing to a new long-term deal with the team at the end of 2023, the full-back has already made seven appearances in competitive play for Klopp’s team and appears to be the ideal backup for Alexander-Arnold.
