Sergio Ramos is all set to sign a fresh contract with PSG
Sergio Ramos’ exit from Real Madrid has shocked the whole football world. After 17 years of service, he is no longer the captain of Los Blancos.
The veteran defender was offered only a one-year deal at Madrid, a deal he reluctantly agreed, but he left it too late to decide and the deal was taken off the table.
However, Ramos landed in Paris for his medicals and was found fully fit. He is now set to sign a fresh new contract for his second ever professional club.
Ramos will replace Thiago Silva’s position. That’s an upgrade for PSG as they now have probably the greatest defender in football history.
With Sergio Ramos on center-back line, Mauricio Pochettino’s team will be hoping for their UEFA Champions League dream.
