Jadon Sancho (Full Name – Jadon Malik Sancho) is an English footballer born on 25 March, 2000 in Camberwell, United Kingdom. His father’s name is Sean Sancho and his mother’s identity is unknown. Sadly, his younger brother died five years ago.

Childhood

Sancho showed his passion for football when he was only a seven-year-old child. As his debut, he joined n the roster of his high school team.

One day that Jadon and his friends were playing football near their home. Holmes-Lewis witnessed their their brilliant acts and techniques, so he used his football connections to offer them a career opportunity.

Then started his football journey. Jadon broke into Watford when he was 7 but couldn’t afford the travelling by his own. So he requested accommodation from Watford.

Career

Being in Harefield Academy gave him the chance to flourish and prove himself as a worthy player. Watching his performance, Chelsea and Arsenal offered him to join them, but he preferred to stay at Watford.

In March 2015 when he was 14, he joined Manchester City for an initial fee of £66K. He showed such skills that he could impress the Manchester City academy.

Following a dispute over assurances of playing time in a new contract, Sancho moved to Dortmund in 2017 for £8 million. He was immediately promoted to the first-team squad.

Jadon made his debut for BVB against Eintracht Frankfurt. He became the first Englishman to play a Bundesliga match for Dortmund.

Later, in January 2018 he made his first league start for Dortmund in a match against VfL Wolfsburg. He scored his first professional goal in a 4–0 victory against Bayer Leverkusen and he also assisted two other goals in the same match.

In 2018, he was named Bundesliga Player of the Month by scoring three goals and an assist in just three league games.

He became the first player born in the 2000s to score twice in a single Bundesliga match and the youngest ever by a Dortmund player. Scoring a goal in the UEFA Champions League against Atlético Madrid, he was named the first player born in the 2000s to score in the competition.

In a 3–3 draw with Hoffenheim, he was entitled the youngest-ever player to score eight goals in a single Bundesliga season. So he broke the record held by Christian Wück.

He also broke Lukas Podolski’s record in a 3–2 win over Bayer Leverkusen. He became the youngest player to score nine Bundesliga goals when he was only 18 years and 336 days.

Jadon scored a brace in a 2–1 win over Mainz. In this process, he became the youngest-ever Dortmund player to score at least 10 goals in a single Bundesliga campaign.

On 31 May 2020, in a 6–1 win over SC Paderborn he scored his first career hat-trick.
