Xavi would be Barcelona’s new manager

Barcelona has relieved Ronald Koeman from his coaching duties after losing to newly promoted Rayo Vallecano. Falcao was the goalscorer in the match.

According to the sources, Barca legend Xavi would be their new manager expected to join the club next month. Sergi Barjuan will coach the team until then.

Xavi has accepted the offer from Joan Laporta to become Barcelona’s head coach. The deal will be announced once the agreement is reached to terminate his contract as manager of the Qatari club Al Sadd.

The 41-year-old made 767 appearances for his club before finishing his career at Al Sadd. In 2019, he decided to start his managerial career. His first stint as a manger has been amazing.

The Spanish international won eight La Liga titles and the four Champions League titles with the Catalan club. He is regarded as one of the greatest players in football history.

He joined the club in 1992, started his professional career under Louis van Gaal six years later and left in 2015 having secured 27 trophies, made 184 assists and scored 85 goals.
