Sports Desk – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have suffered a huge shock before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Australian all-rounder Chris Green has been banned due to his Illegal action. Chris Green has been banned from bowling for three months after being reported for an illegal action during the Big Bash League (BBL). Chris Green was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for a base price of 20 lakh rupees.

Chris Green’s participation in the IPL will now depend on the approval of the league’s governing council, as his ban will remain in the tournament starting on March 29.

“We’d like to commend Chris and the Thunder for the way they have approached this process with complete co-operation and respect,” Cricket Australia’s Head of Operations Peter Roach said in a statement posted on ‘cricket.com.au’. Chris got his bowling action tested and we will get him tested again after the suspension time is over in the coming months.
