3TC Solidarity Cup 2020 Highlights: AB de Villiers’ Eagles bagged the gold medal, while Temba Bavuma’s Kites won silver in South Africa’s 3TC Solidarity Cup in Centurion.

Sports Desk- Experimental match played under the Solidarity Cup 2020 between Coronavirus in South Africa. Three teams played together under the 3T format in a 36-over match. The match had two half-time of 18-18 overs. In this, each team had to play 6-6 overs in both the half.

AB de Villiers‘ Eagles bagged the gold medal, while Temba Bavuma’s Kites silver and Reeza Hendricks Kingfishers win bronze medal in South Africa’s 3TC Solidarity Cup in Centurion.

The De Villiers, who is retired from international cricket but swashbuckling inning by their captain and his century stand with Aiden Markram went a long way towards cementing the gold medal for the side.

The right-handed De Villiers scored 61 runs from just 24 balls while Markram registered a score of 70 from 33 balls and helped their side score 160/4 across the two halves of six overs each that they faced.

That put them 22 runs clear of the 138/3 posted by silver medallists Kites and 47 ahead of the Kingfisher’s (113/5), the team that ended with bronze.
