Sports Desk – The 3rd and final T20I of the three-match series between India and West Indies was held at Providence Stadium, Guyana on Tuesday (August 6). In this match caption Virat kohli won the toss and opt to bowl. In reply, India rode on half-centuries from Virat Kohli (59 of 45) and Young  Rishabh Pant (65 not out of 42 balls) to seal the series by virtue of a seven-wicket win. The target was achieved in 19.1 overs. their fourth such series win in T20I cricket. 

Deepak Chahar removed West Indies’ top-three batsmen in a quick span of time. However, courtesy a vital 66-run stand for the fourth wicket between Kieron Pollard (58) and Nicholas Pooran (17). West Indies for 146 for 6 in 20 overs. Chasing 147, India came to bat with a new opening pair in Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul. With vice-captain Rohit Sharma opting for rest. however, out opener Dhawan for 3 run. Rahul, on the other hand, started off on a positive note.
