India will play three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in august. India will play its last ODI series before Asia Cup 2022. India is all set to tour Zimbabwe for three matches ODI series. BCCI on Saturday evening announced the squad for the tour. Shikhar Dhawan is appointed as the captain of the series and the whole squad is full of young players. Earlier it was rumoured that Virat will play in this series in an attempt to regain his form but Virat is not included in the squad.
KL Rahul who was expected to play in this series is also not included in the squad because according to the reports he is injured again and struggling with his injuries. Earlier he was excluded from the West Indies tour because he tested positive for covid. It will be hard for KL Rahul to make his comeback because after this series Asia Cup will start and Rahul has not played any international match after IPL 2022.
