Suresh Raina Out Of IPL 2020, Returns To India Due To "Personal Reasons"

IPL 2020 Updates- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) veteran batsman Suresh Raina will be seen playing in the 13th season of IPL. He has returned to India for personal reasons. The franchise Chennai Super Kings has informed of his return to India.

According to Cricinfo, Raina has returned to India. Teams have reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the IPL starting on 19 September. What is the real reason behind Raina’s return, it is not yet known.

Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time, “CSK CEO KS Viswanathan was quoted as saying on the team’s official Twitter handle. Suresh Raina has been an integral part of the CSK team from the very beginning and his departure will come as a massive blow to the side.

Raina recently announced his retirement from international cricket, brining an end to a career spanning 13 years in which he represented India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is.

The 33-year-old has so far played 193 games for CSK in which he has accumulated more than 5,000 runs at a strike rate of above 137. Besides, he has also picked 25 wickets.
