Sports Desk- The T20 World Cup 2020 to be held in Australia in October-November due to Coronavirus has been canceled. On Monday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that the T20 world cup event will be held next year. With this, the window of organizing the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) has opened.
IPL 2020 is set to start on September 19 in UAE
The ICC statement said, “The ICC postponed the proposed Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia due to the Kovid-19 epidemic.” The T20 World Cup was to be held from 18 October to 15 November.
ICC Men’s World Cup
- The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will be held on October-November 2021 and the final will be held on 14 November 2021.
- The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will be held on October-November 2022 and the final will be held on 13 November 2022.
- The ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 will be held in India in October-November 2023 and the final will be held on 26 November 2023.

When can there be IPL 2020 ?
With the postponement of the T20 World Cup 2020, the window for IPL has now opened. According to sources, BCCI IPL season 13 can be held between September 26 to November 8. It is also possible that BCCI may organize IPL season 13 in UAE.
