Former Sri Lankan captain and one of the most successful batters in T20 World Cups history is the all-time highest scorer in T20 World Cups which also makes him the top scorer for Sri Lanka. Jayawardene has 1016 runs in T20 World Cups which makes him the only player to cross the 1000 runs mark. Jayawardene had an average of 39.07 with one century and 6 half-centuries in the T20 world Cup.
