Indian middle-order batsman Shivam Dube is the talk of the town. With a T20 World Cup coming in June 2024, there are many talks regarding his selection in the Indian squad. In this article, we will tell you about the possibility of Shivam Dube playing in the World Cup 2024.

Shivam Dube is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball. He smashed sixes for fun and completely changed the momentum of the game. Dube is part of the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024. CSK has completely changed Dube and he is looking much better now. Dube is an all-rounder but due to impact player rule, he comes to bat as an impact player which is why he is not bowling in IPL 2024.

Dube is in red-hot form. He was part of RCB and RR before he joined CSK but the way his game came out in CSK is remarkable. Dube is playing as a middle-order batsman in CSK. He bats at the No.4 spot where he neutralises spinners of the opposition team. Dube is a fast-bowling all-rounder which is a scarce skill set found in India. Not many players have made a name in this department.

Players like Kapil Dev and Hardik Pandya are prime examples of it. Shivam Dube is not bowling in IPL 2024 but he was bowling before IPL for India. His form makes him a solid contender for the squad of the Indian team but Hardik Pandya is his biggest competitor. Pandya is bowling regularly in IPL but he is not very clinical. It will be hard for selectors to choose anyone as both lack something.
