Lionel Messi has won 43 trophies for both club and country, putting him just one behind former Barcelona teammate Dani Alves as the footballer with the most trophies in their career.

Lionel Messi won the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, his third major international championship with Argentina, having previously won the Copa America (2021) and Cup of Champions (2022). He also won an Olympic gold medal with Argentina in 2008.
