Sports Desk- Spain’s football club Barcelona earned the highest €840.8 million ($ 934.1 million) in 2018-19. In this case, Barcelona has overtaken Real Madrid. The Deloitte’s Football Money League released its survey report on Monday.
The new study found that Barca generated a record-breaking revenue of $935.9m (840.8 million euros) last season, becoming the only third club to hold the top position. As a result, Real Madrid slip to second with $842.9 million (€757.3 million) whilst Manchester United remained (€711.5 million) in third.
The German champions Bayern Munich holds the number four position. It earned €660.1 million. At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is at number five with earnings of €635.9 million.
Manchester United tops English football clubs in terms of earnings. The Money League released its first survey report in 1996–97. The United Club has remained the number-1 English club ever since. Tottenham from England earned €521.1 million. He reached number 8 for the first time in the top list.
