Apart from Antony, English winger Jadon Sancho is also training away from Manchester United’s first team at the moment. Sancho got into an argument with manager Erik ten Hag after being left out of the Premier League match against Arsenal.

Manchester United is said to have begun looking for new faces in this predicament, and they are apparently keeping a close eye on Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. According to a Daily Mail story, Manchester United have expressed interest in the Georgian player.

Did Manchester United find a replacement for Antony?

According to the source, the Red Devils will only be able to sign Kvaratskhelia on a loan deal. United will be unable to spend large sums of money in the transfer market due to FFP laws, so a loan move for the 22-year-old may appear to be a plausible option.

With the transfer market presently closed, Manchester United will almost certainly have to rely on their own players to replace Antony.

The team’s remaining recognized right-wingers are Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri. Diallo, on the other hand, has been sidelined with a long-term ailment.

Erik ten Hag may contemplate reshuffling the midfield in addition to bringing in new players. Ten Hag now has the option to move Bruno Fernandes to the right side of the midfield thanks to the addition of Amrabat.

Another possibility for the Dutchman is to bring back Jadon Sancho to the team. That alternative, however, appears to be very doubtful at this time. Sancho will not be in Manchester United’s squad for this weekend’s game against Brighton.

“Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue,” read a statement shared by the club on Thursday.

Erik ten Hag previously stated that Jadon Sancho was withdrawn from the squad due to poor performance in training.

Ten Hag’s words irritated Sancho, who called the Dutch coach’s remarks “completely untrue” on social media platform X (previously known as Twitter). Sancho, on the other hand, erased his post on Tuesday, more than a week after it was published.
