PSG end Bayern’s 20 games unbeaten run in the UEFA Champions League

On Thursday, PSG defeated Bayern Munich 3-2. The match was so incredible to watch. A moment of silence for those who missed it.

Kylian Mbappe was phenomenal in the game as he scored 2 goals while Neymar assisted 2 times. Mbappe scored the winning goal for PSG.

Robert Lewandowski was not playing the game due to leg injury. This is one of the main reason of Bayern’s loss.

Bayern was dominating the game but weren’t able to convert those 12 shots taken on target. In total, Bayern made 31 attempts and had more possession in the game.

Keylor Navas was the wall for PSG in the match. He saved 10 of of those 12 shots taken by Bayern players.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller were the only goal scorers for Bayern. They both scored a header against Navas.

Talking about the other game, Chelsea defeated Porto 0-2. Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell gave Chelsea an advantage of away goals.

Chelsea last played a UCL semi-final in 2012 which further took them to their first UCL title victory. They defeated Bayern Munich 4-3 thanks to Didier Drogba’s last minute goal.

The second quarter final leg of UCL will be played on 15th April. In the first leg, Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 1-3 and Manchester City defeated Dortmund 2-1.
