CR7 wants to end his career from where it was started – Sporting CP

The five time Ballon d’Or winner said that he wants to spend two years at his first ever professional club Sporting CP, from where his legendary journey started.

Ronaldo’s contract with Juventus will expire in 2022. He will be looking for an emotional return to Sporting after his contract expires.

“Ronaldo has an idea for his future that we are going to reveal here first hand,” Italian journalist Raimondi told Italian TV Sport Mediaset’s ‘Pressing’ program.

“He wants to end his cycle at Juventus and then play for two years at Sporting.

“Cristiano has no intention of leaving Juventus, he wants to honor the contract, which ends in 2022.

“There is no chance of a return to Spain and Real Madrid, whereas Manchester United have no financial strength for a move.

PSG is interested in signing Ronaldo in 2022, but it seems that they are going to fail after this heartwarming news for Ronaldo fans.

Earlier this year, a video emerged showing Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, holding a Sporting shirt with her son’s name and number on the back.

A statement appeared which says:

“It is with great honor that Sporting Clube de Portugal informs that the Clube Academy will be renamed Academia Cristiano Ronaldo.”

“The good son makes the house and the house that made Cristiano Ronaldo now welcomes his name in honour of the one who became the best Portuguese player of all time, the best player in the world, was awarded the Ballon d’Or five times and captained the national team to European Championship and Nations League success.

“The Academy will thus immortalise the name of the greatest symbol ever formed and that will be an inspiration to follow for all the youngest talents.

“On a date to be announced, and as soon as conditions permit, the club will make the official inauguration.”
