1. Paolo Maldini – Maldini is regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time. He spent 25 incredible years with Milan winning five Champions League trophies. He is the record appearance-maker for Milan with 902 games.

2. Franco Baresi – Franco Baresi is the longest-serving captain of the history of Milan, donning the armband in 15 of 20 seasons. He made 719 appearances, winning six league titles and three European Cups during his dominant reign at the back.

3. Gianni Rivera – With Rivera, Milan lifted their first UCL trophy.  After winning everything, he finished with the Scudetto that was also the tenth title for the club. He scored 163 goals in 650 matches in an AC Milan shirt.
