I know who you guys are thinking about. Even we are surprised to not see ‘Mr. Champions League’ in this squad. Cristiano Ronaldo was the top scorer of the Serie A and won the Coppa Italia with Juventus this season.

Riyad Mahrez also deserved to be in that squad. He scored the decisive goal against PSG that took Man City to their first ever UCL final.

Keylor Navas was the reason why PSG played in the UCL semi-finals. He was rock solid against Barca and Bayern.

Joshua Kimmich is one of the best defensive mid-fielder in the world right now. He won DFB Pokal and Bundesliga with Bayern this season.

Juan Caudrado ended the season with most UCL assists (6).

Which was the most surprising omission?
