Enzo Fernandez was not amused by a Liverpool supporter making fun of him during a heated Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Liverpool defeated Chelsea 1-0 in overtime to win the domestic cup final, marking Chelsea’s sixth consecutive loss.

The heartbroken reluctantly accepting their runners-up medals, Blues players ascended the Wembley steps and were met with derision from Liverpool supporters seated in the stands.

Mykhailo Mudryk stood in front of Fernandez, unaffected by taunts from the sulking Reds fans in the area. However, the same cannot be true about Fernandez, who appeared incensed as he and his colleagues were made fun of.

One Liverpool fan is heard sarcastically saying: “Enzo, unlucky lad.”

Before things got out of hand, Fernandez responded by pausing momentarily and staring at the fan before being led up the stairs.

Chelsea suffered additional cup heartache at the hands of Liverpool, who had previously defeated them in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup finals two years prior.

The West London team’s most recent significant victory was in the Champions League in 2021, yet they have a history of losing championship games.

They have lost the last six domestic cup finals, as was previously reported. They had lost the 2020 FA Cup final, the 2019 Carabao Cup final, and the 2021 FA Cup final prior to this season’s Carabao Cup final and the double defeat to Liverpool in the 2021/22 campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team, now ranked 11th in the Premier League, has had an awful season. They will still play Leeds on Wednesday night in the FA Cup, though.
