Catalan outlet El Nacional, published by Sportskeeda, reported that Isco’s priority is clear and he is keen for a move to the Camp No. If the deal happens, it would be the first time that a player has moved between the two clubs in more than 14 years.

Javier Saviola was the last player to make a free transfer from Barcelona to Real Madrid.

The Spanish international is disgruntled with the club as he is lacking the playing time, and unfounded rumours that his chemistry has fallen out with his teammates. Moreover, he is reportedly willing to pay out of his own pocket for the move.

In his long spell for Los Blancos, the 29-year-old has scored 52 goals and registered 56 assists in 342 appearances. He is indeed one of the best players in the club’s history.

In his last 8 years, Isco has won:

  • Champions Leagues x4
  • Club World Cups x4
  • UEFA Supercups x3
  • La Liga titles x2
  • Spanish Super Cups x2
  • Spanish Cup x1

Barca fans might not want this move to happen, after knowing that he also had a dog called ‘Messi. Carlo Ancelotti’s team is currently second in the La Liga table with 17 points from 8 games.
