Jason Roy opts out of IPL 2020, Daniel Sams named replacement

Sports Desk – Before the start of IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals suffered a major setback. Opener batsman Jason Roy has withdrawn his name from the IPL tournament. The right-handed batsman had joined the franchise at his base price of Rs 1.5 crore in IPL 2020 auction. The news comes just a few minutes after Roy was ruled out of the three T20Is against Pakistan due to side strain.

He took this decision due to a muscle strain. The opener suffered an injury during practice this week at Old Trafford and his injury information was revealed on Wednesday’s scan.
