The IPL 2020 starts on 19 September. But we are going to tell you the history and record of IPL. India’s spin bowler Pravin Tambe is the only bowler in IPL (Live Streaming) history to have a record of taking a hat-trick from 2 balls.
Pravin Tambe did this feat in the 2014 IPL. Tambe was a member of Rajasthan Royals team in 2014, he did this unique feat against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Tambe got the hat-trick in the 16th over. The first delivery adjudged wide as the googly spun enough to beat an advancing Manish Pandey as he was stumped by Sanju Samson. But this ball was quite out of the stumps. In such a situation, Manish Pandey failed to play the ball and wicketkeeper Sanju Samson easily stumped the wide ball.
With his first legal delivery, he got Yusuf Pathan (0) and Ryan ten Doeschate (0) was done in by a flipper.
However, this is the second time that a bowler in T20 cricket has taken a hat-trick in two legal deliveries.
Sri Lankan left-arm seamer Isuru Udana was the first among equals as he got three with two legal deliveries playing for Wayamba against Central Districts during a 2010 Champions League T20 match in Port Elizabeth.
While batting, KKR scored 121 for the opening stand and with only 50 runs to get, disaster struck as they lost six wickets for two runs and never recovered from that.
48-year-old spinner bowler Pravin Tambe was disqualified from IPL 2020. Tambe was bought by KKR this time at his base price of 20 lakhs.
According to the news, Indian spinner Praveen Tambe was sentenced to play in the T10 League in Sharjah in 2018. Praveen participated in this tournament after retiring. He also informed about this to the Mumbai Cricket Association. However, he also withdrew his resignation after the tournament.
