#1 Virender Sehwag – 219

It was in 2011 when veteran Indian opener Virender Sehwag scored his first double century of ODIs against West Indies in Indore. Sehwag made an individual score of 219 off just 149 balls after which he became the only second player to score a double century in ODIs after Sachin Tendulkar at that time. Sehwag’s innings was a special one as it also helped India to achieve their highest ever ODI total. Sehwag smashed 25 fours and 7 sixes in his innings and he played with a strike rate of 146.9.
