Charles Lecrec made a good start in his 2022-23 campaign. At the start of the season, he was at the top of the points table with 2 podiums and a win in his hands. Spanish driver Sainz Jr. was just behind him with 33 points and 2 podiums.
Max Verstappen won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix finishing the race with 25 points. Lecrec could have won the race but he finished second with 19 points in hands and Sainz ended at third place.

In the previous season, Lewis Hamilton failed to retain his throne as he lost to the Belgian-Dutch legend Max Verstappen. Not that he finished second throughout the season but was forced to sit on third position because of Lando Norris.
