Borussia Dortmund has sacked its head coach Lucien Favre, according to Sport Bild
After losing to Stuttgart by 1-5 yesterday, Dortmund sacked its head coach Lucien Favre today as reported by the channel Sport Bild.
Ever since Erling Haaland has got injured, Dortmund haven’t won any match. Haaland has been very helpful for Dortmund this season. He has also scored 5 goals in record 56 minutes in a match against Hertha Berlin.
It seems that Favre was helpless without Haaland and that’s the reason why he wasn’t effective in recent matches. Haaland is the major reason behind Dortmund’s victories in Bundesliga.
Club legend Marco Reus is now helpless to his team as he suffered so many injuries this year. Reus is still one of the best player in the world and is still the best player in Dortmund but he had played only some games under Favre.
A few days ago, Bayern played a draw of 3-3 with RB Leipzig. But Bayern is still the league leader. On the other hand, after losing to Stuttgart Dortmund slipped to 5th spot on points table. VFB Stuggart is on 7th position after yesterday’s unbelievable victory.
