iShowSpeed signing 'fake Man Utd contract' after Liverpool's FA Cup loss at Old Trafford

After Manchester United’s FA Cup match against Liverpool, the team unintentionally left out a “contract,” which was discovered by Jurgen Klopp.

In March of last year, Klopp’s team went to Old Trafford with the intention of eliminating their bitter rivals United from the FA Cup.

Nonetheless, in an absolutely iconic match between two of the biggest clubs in England, the home team prevailed 4-3 in extra time.

Liverpool’s chances of achieving the quadruple during Klopp’s final season in charge were dashed by United’s defeat; the German manager will be leaving Anfield at the end of the current campaign.

When Klopp arrived for his press conference following the United match, he was seen holding what appeared to be a club contract.

It turns out that the club unintentionally left it behind after working with well-known YouTuber iShowSpeed on a video.

A “contract” was signed by iShowSpeed in a social media video. Reporter Gaz Drinkwater of BBC Radio Manchester wrote: “Another funny thing about this. United left the fake ‘contract’ on the table after. Guess who was the next person sat there.”

Drinkwater then shared a photo of a puzzled Klopp displaying the contract to the present journalists.

Liverpool’s bad form continues

Ever since United’s FA Cup loss, Liverpool’s season has collapsed.

After that, Atalanta of Italy eliminated the Reds from the Europa League. Following their defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace the previous weekend, they have also lost position in the Premier League title battle.

Liverpool is currently two points behind leaders Manchester City in third place in the league standings.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s match against Fulham, Klopp said: “We will find a way to be positive, to see the chance in front of us and all these kind of things. But then you have to play an opponent who has their own targets, maybe longer time for recovery, all these kind of things, different situations in general.

“That’s the challenge in football because we never play just for ourselves, we always have an opponent. We have to make sure we become that opponent for each team again [that] they don’t want to play against. We made it a bit too easy for three teams in a row and we should change that.”
